Briana met President Gee

Yesterday, Briana and I visited COSI, our science museum. My school at OSU was opening an exhibit, "Labs in Life". The president of Ohio State, President Gee, was there for the festivities. Along with Coach Tressel and Archie Griffin, President Gee is one of the most recognizable and famous residents of Columbus and now Briana has pictures with all 3.

Happy Mother's Day

We had a busy Mother's Day. We gave Gretchen her gifts in the morning, followed by swimming lessons in the afternoon and soccer at night. We ended the day eating out at Steak & Shake.

Poetry

Briana is really starting to enjoy poetry. She loves reading poems and writing them. On Friday, her class had a poetry reading with all parents invited.

She received a lot applause for her poem "Alex and Me". Here it is:

I love my baby brother Alex.
He is the best.
I play with him everyday.
Now I need a rest.
He is the smartest baby I know.
Good night, Alex.
It's time to go.
